Let’s start with the fact that Lauren Layne owes me $2.20 for having to use two nespresso pods this morning.
I read this book in one sitting. Which was mostly annoying because I started it at 930 pm. But omg, I loved it! I know what you’re thinking…of course you loved it, you’ve loved all of her books. Well, stop calling me out for things that are true!
This is a real re-reader for me. There’s a specific thing I liked about this without giving any spoilers- Violet made a life change around 50% of the way in. This NEVER happens in books it seems like! We always have to wait til the end for some changes that have to be made. I very much appreciated that in this book.
I’m totally in love with the love of the Duchess and Cain. I can’t wait for people more creative than I am to create some fan art!
