For the legit book blurb look here.My book blurb- popular girl's dad dies. popular girl now has the realization that a lot of her friends suck. popular sits at lunch table with a kid with Asperger syndrome. teen romance ensues.I think I really could've rated this book 5 out of 5 stars but I feel like a 4 star rating means you would definitely read the book again/ it's buy worthy- and this wasn't for me.  But I greatly enjoyed it.The hardest part of the book was getting through some facts from David's chapters.  He does have Asperger syndrome and is very factual.  Which is both entertaining and annoying.  A bit like reading The Martian when you find yourself skimming to get to the meat of the story.The characters were very likable.  I really liked Kit, her emotions were true, she wasn't annoying and she reacted really rationally.  I mean, teenage rationally.  But she wasn't the type of character that you say "please shut up, no one ever does that and you are not remotely relatable."  David was very matter- of -fact. He was endearing and it was really cool to get a look into the support system of someone "on the autism spectrum."  For people who got into Max in the show Parenthood - you will really like David.Overall an enjoyable, back to school read.
