First of all, this book was amazing and I’m going to give it 5 stars- so you should know that going in.
I read this book when I was deep into my feelings of being chronically ill. Endometriosis is a fickle bitch. Sometimes when the dark and twisties find you, you need some romance in your life. Or in my case, every time the dark and twisties find me, I need romance in my life. Romance novels bring me a lot of solace, joy and pleasure. And this book came in hot with all three!
Things you should know going into this book:
It is a grump/sunshine trope- aka an amazing trope that everyone should read.
You will fall in lover with either Harrison or Piper, or both.
You must love Harry & Meghan. Ok you don’t have to- but you should be ashamed of yourself if you don’t! Ashamed I tell you!
I read this book within a 12 hour time span. I really should’ve started reading it earlier in the evening, so I didn’t require sleep in the midst of some late night reading… I’m still swooning over Harrison and Piper! I sincerely hope we get a PPO series with James!!! I know I’m really not doing this review justice - but read this book!
