To have and to hate by RS grey
3 out of 5 stars
(SORRY DON’T REMEMBER THE STEAM LEVEL ON THIS ONE!)
This one was different from Grey in the romcom level. It was a little more reminiscent of With This Heart- but with the writing style of Coldhearted Boss
I rarely LOLed at this one, but when I did - it was any scene with Matthew. I know this book was all about Walt, but I was ALL about Matthew. PLEASE tell me that he's going to get his own book next!!!!
This one gave me total Wall of Winnipeg vibes - which as a reminder, I loved but needed some major editing (way too long) of the first 100-150 pages.
thing I didn't love about the book was how long it took me to get into it.
Okay last thing, I promise. The major issues in the book were communication issues. I think this is the normal plot device used in Marriage of Convenience/ confined spaces (why can I NEVER think of the real term used for this trope?!). I mention it because, you know I hate this plot device. But it works in these instances.
Overall, I read this one quickly and enjoyed it! It's not my favorite of her books, but still worth a read.
