Yay, I finally finished a book!

I listened to this on audio- I think the first time I’ve ever made it through a romance audio- but bc these are being released audio way before ebook, I thought I’d give it a go.

I love the tone that the author writes in. There’s some authors that you just vibe with their writing style (I’m talking to you Penny Reid) and I just really enjoy this authors style!

It would’ve been a five star read- but I needed better feelings communication at the end. I had this same issue with the love hypothesis. There’s a lot of the heroine keeping her feelings to herself (I love some good pining!) but when it comes to the “get together” point, I just need some better- actually say the words out loud not just think them- communication.

Overall really enjoyed this one, and am happy to get a book that I actually finished in 2022!
