Thank you to Penny Reid for the advanced readers copy!

I enjoyed bananapants. You should know going into it that it is a book that's in the Knitting In The City universe. Technically it is a stand alone and Penny did a great job of summarizing the people you would need to know from previous books- but having said that, I really do think that it's best read after you've read the knitting in the city series.

I liked that this book had some amazing quotable, poignant quotes about mental health. That was probably my favorite aspect about the book as a whole. The authors note about the inspiration of this book was great to read and made me like the book even more.

Overall I enjoyed this book. But it wasn't my favorite Penny Reid book. There were some action scenes in it that weren't really my style. But the love story overall, I was rooting for and that's really all I want in a romance.

stars: 3-3.5

Steam level: I forgot already but I'm going to say 4!
