The Duke and I by Julia Quinn

Okay I know that this book has a problematic scene in it. (IMO it was less problematic than a certain Christina Lauren book that gets way less attention than this one did). Because of this scene though it made the book SUPER hard to rate. But also... I loved the book! And since I'm in charge of my ratings (that's right, I am! I mean feel free to try to change my opinion but I don't think you'll be able to!) This book officially makes the REQUIRED READING FOR ROMANCE LOVERS list!

I am seriously SO excited that this series is going to be a Netflix show and I can't freaking wait!!!!!

I'm slightly obsessed with Simon. And the drama level in this book was just BEGGING to be made into a tv show. (Are you tired of my excessive use of caps lock yet? No? Okay good.)

I feel like there's 71919738 things I could say about this book but the most important thing is- READ IT!!! It's such a fun historical romance!

If you watched Gossip Girl- you would like this book! You'll also like it if you didn't like gossip girl hahah....but it does give off some major GG vibes!

Important note: there's like 7ish books in this series... You'll want to read all of them ASAP, so request them all from your library or go ahead and buy them on your Kindle. They are all stand alone novels about the Bridgeton siblings - kind of like The Winston Brothers series!
