Charlie Grant’s older sister is getting married this weekend at their family home, and Charlie can’t wait—for the first time in years, all four of her older siblings will be under one roof. The weekend is shaping up to be an absolute disaster. There’s the unexpected dog with a penchant for howling, house alarm that won’t stop going off, and a papergirl with a grudge. There are the relatives who aren’t speaking, the (awful) girl her favorite brother brought home unannounced, and a missing tuxedo. Not to mention the neighbor who seems to be bent on sabotage and a storm that is bent on drenching everything. The justice of the peace is missing. The band will only play covers. The guests are all crazy. And the wedding planner’s nephew is unexpectedly, distractingly…cute.A girl with a big, funny, dramatic family attempts to resolve everything that goes wrong in her sister's wedding.This is my third Matson book. I don't think any of them have been 4 star books, but goodreads would disagree with me.  This one had a lot of hype on instagram so after JUST finished The Unexpected Everything, I decided to hop right into this book.I liked the main character in this book better than Andie in TUE. (Sidenote- Do you love girls with typically boys names or nicknames? Because I kind of do. I wonder if Matson does that because her name is Morgan? I'm just saying I'm noticing a trend here... Andie, Charlie...)I LOVED her huge family. All of the banter, the camaraderie, the complications.How people were treating Bonnie.  It was annoying to read about how no one was welcoming to her. And it just. Kept. Going. When someone KNOWS they're being selfish and you have to keep reading about it... I'm not into that.I don't like Matson's overly descriptive writing. I know the goal isn't to constantly make a book shorter, but both books had quite a few pages of descriptions that TOTALLY weren't necessary!  Please, spare me, I beg of you.I was also expecting more of a romcom vibe, and that wasn't the case. This was the story about a girl and her family and the whole love life thing wasn't a cookie cutter storyline.  This wouldn't have been a bad thing necessarily if I knew that's what I was getting into.
