Meet Cute by Various Authors
Whether or not you believe in fate, or luck, or love at first sight, every romance has to start somewhere. MEET CUTE is an anthology of original short stories featuring tales of “how they first met” from some of today’s most popular YA authors.
I'm going to break down my individual ratings at the end of this and overall they weren't awful stories or anything. I just didn't get as into this as I thought I would. Some of my favorite authors are part of this compilation of "meet cute" short stories. I almost DNR-ed this after about 4 stories- it just wasn't as amazing as I was hoping. I've also seen this book hyped on quite a few bookstagrams and it didn't live up to the hype for me. There's always potential that I'm not a short story girl. There was a lot of explanation and introduction and then they just cut off. Is that the hallmark of short stories? If so, count me out! There were some cute stories woven throughout the anthology- but I would really only recommend this if you know you love short stories and you've made your way through most of your TBR list already.Individual ratings of Meet Cute
